About Relationship Brilliance - Coming in 2021
Ambitious people are always looking for ways to leverage business relationships. The problem is, they mismanage expectations or take actions that cause other unforeseen challenges, like unwanted conflict.
Sometimes they compromise workplace relationships for the sake of success, either diminishing themselves in order to keep a job or stepping on colleagues' toes in a race to the bottom, er, I mean top.
Are you one of those people?
To create lasting behavioural change that enables you to create workplace relationships that offer mutual benefit to everyone involved, you must turn within to examine your relationship with yourself, assess the impact this has on your external relationships and alter at source to create the sort of relationships that generate win-win scenarios and ultimately career success.
What's the key to being able to do this effectively and effortlessly? Mindfulness.
Relationship Brilliance is the second in a three-part series of programmes designed to help you learn the art of mindfulness to create and leverage powerful business relationships in a beneficial way.
Over the course of this 12-week programme, I will teach you how to build on what you learned about mindfulness in Citizenship Brilliance by applying it to relationships. With practice, you'll be able to reach a state of mindfulness with ease, get to the bottom of your relationship strategies and develop new ways of being that produce a new-found sense of freedom, power and fulfilment in your workplace relationships.
There is a caveat. Mindfulness is not for everyone. Why?
The reason is that turning within and learning to breathe with intention can release blocked physical, emotional and psychological energy. For most people, this is a positive experience. However, this kind of release can produce unwanted and challenging disturbances for people who have certain physiological conditions or mental ill health.
